Kerala Culinary Tour provides you the opportunity to taste many culinary delights Of Kerala and the same time, learn the art of making them too. Kerala cuisine is famous for many flavors such as nutmeg, cardamom, pepper, cinnamon and cloves, tamarind, whole red chillies, bay leaf and fennel seeds. The main component in the cuisine are Rice and fresh coconut. One of the best features of Kerala cuisine is that use of oil, sugar and artificial additives is kept to a minimum, which makes it healthy. A typical traditional meal in South India is served on a freshly cut banana leaf, which is quite appealing.

DAY 1 - Arrive Cochin

Arrive Cochin in Kerala transfer to hotel. Evening sunset cruise and witness Kathakali show. Later We suggest you a dinner with cooking demonstration in one of the local house to experience and learn the Kerala style cuisine. overnight at your hotel.

DAY 2 - At Cochin

After breakfast, stroll through the local spice and fish markets in Fort Cochin area visit St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace and Jewish Synagogue. Evening back to the hotel for an introduction to Indian and Keralan cuisine, followed by cooking demonstration with an emphasis on seafood overnight in Cochin.

DAY 3 - Cochin -Thekkady

After breakfast proceed to Thekkady. Thekkady is one of the best-known wild life Centers in India and picturesque with unending Chains of hills and spice-scented plantations. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 4 - Thekkady

Toady you can go for a spice plantation tour where you can visit the growing spices like’ cinnamon, cardamom, pepper and nutmeg. Kerala pepper is famous in the world and we called as ‘Karutha Ponnu ‘in local language which means Black Gold. In the evening you will participate in another cookery demonstration at your resort. Overnight stay at the resort.

DAY 5 - Thekkady -Alleppey (Houseboat)

After breakfast drive to Alleppey to embark houseboat at 1200pm, spend the day through the floating villa. Enjoy the backwaters of Kerala by getting a glimpse of the village life at close quarters; a unique and unforgettable experience. Enjoy the sunset & stay overnight on the house boat. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Overnight at Houseboat.

DAY 6 - Alleppey -Kumarakom

Transfer by road to Kumarakom - a matchless backwater destination of Kerala located on the banks of Vembanad Lake check in at your hotel evening take the sunset cruise in a boat overnight at your hotel. You could also try your hand at making your own variations of Kerala dishes. Overnight at the resort.

DAY 7 - Departure

Departure transfer to the Cochin International airport for your return flight
